Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (AI Supercomputer) in Memphis to support data center teams with robust EHS programs. You will review procedures, calibrate equipment, maintain IH records, and participate in incident investigations, with a focus on safeguarding personnel and facilities.

The role also involves emergency planning, PPE assessment, and collaboration with Environmental Engineering to ensure compliance and safe operations in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of EHS experience.
• Experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• BCSP certification (ASP, CSP, SMS, OHST etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review procedures and draft job hazard assessments to define hazard controls.
• Establish maintenance programs for safety-critical equipment and PPE.
• Calibrate and service EHS instrumentation and monitors.
• Maintain records for IH studies, training and work permits.
• Conduct incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Support emergency response planning and safety trainings.
• Review lockout/tagout protocols for complex work cells and machinery.
• Monitor safety equipment inventories to ensure PPE readiness.
• Provide environmental compliance support as needed by Environmental Engineering.
