Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 4+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health, and safety disciplines
• Experience with EHS plans/policies is preferred
• Ability to lead technicians and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day and long-term activities/priorities of the EHS technician team
• Ensure a collaborative relationship with technicians and other EHS/SpaceX teams
• Provide instructional guidance on procedures and techniques to perform tasks
• Coordinate with site leadership for EHS participation in plans and procedure development
• Ensure technicians complete tasks thoroughly and on time
• Document performance and compliance issues with technicians
• Implement and maintain site-specific EHS policies
• Ensure resources are allocated appropriately
• Oversee EHS inspections and vendor relationships
• Address hazards and complete Job Hazard Analysis and PPE assessments
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and agencies
