Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 5 years’ experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Must have valid State Driver's License and be able to meet James Avery’s driving requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Ability to travel to various work locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates EHS programs across all employees, operations, and facilities.
• Identify health and safety issues and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Provide guidance to improve workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop training programs and promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain EHS documentation, records, and safety performance tracking.
