Job summary

Manpower Engineering is partnering with a leader in medical device manufacturing for an EHS Specialist in White Bear Lake, MN. The contract runs 6-18 months with potential to go permanent, paying $25-$30/hour.

The EHS Specialist will support regulatory compliance, EHS programs, training, and documentation, coordinating with operations and the EHS team to improve safety and environmental performance on site.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in EHS or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS projects with operations, engineering and maintenance; track actions and provide updates.
• Conduct routine site inspections and support audits and risk assessments; document hazards and corrective actions.
• Participate in incident investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Prepare and update EHS documents, safety data sheets, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain chemical inventories and SDS database; support site EHS trainings.
• Develop and deliver EHS trainings and keep training records.
• Maintain EHS records and support data reporting to management.
