Will-Burt Company is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to implement and manage EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing workplace risks. The role acts as a technical resource for safety and environmental matters and collaborates with operations to maintain a safe, healthy work environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor / associate degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment may be substituted for a degree.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct facility inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Lead accident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training programs.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Manage assigned EHS programs such as LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, confined space, and hazardous waste.
• Prepare inspection reports and compliance documentation.
• Analyze EHS performance data and identify trends.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits.
• Serve as EHS software system administrator for assigned modules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Formação académica
