Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certified; Instructor certification preferred.
  • Three to five years of safety experience required.
  • Ability to coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness.
  • Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies.

  • Monitor and uphold all EHS compliance requirements.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations.

Shift/Work Schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm

About The Role
  • Maintain and oversee a compliant Process Safety Management program.
  • Monitor and uphold all EHS compliance requirements across the facility.
  • Complete Tier II, stormwater, and wastewater reporting.
  • Manage hazardous and nonhazardous waste streams.
  • Partner with employees in a cooperative, respectful, and solutions-focused manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and legal compliance of all EHS programs, documentation, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams on equipment, facility, and process design to ensure safe, ergonomic work environments.
  • Serve as Chairperson of the Safety Committee and actively support its initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
  • Stay current on DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain safety equipment, first aid supplies, and emergency response readiness.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to facility leadership and executive management.

What You'll Bring
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
