Qualifications

• 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety management systems (ISO 45001/14001).
• Ability to identify hazards, audit programs, and develop safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and present safety training for automotive manufacturing.
• Roll out EHS programs across multiple facilities and ensure compliance.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments per Tier-1 standards.
• Partner with plant leadership to enforce regulatory adherence.

Job Details

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, implement, and present engaging safety training programs tailored to an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Lead the rollout and management of EHS programs and procedures across multiple facilities.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring Tier-1 automotive compliance requirements are met.
• Partner with plant leadership to ensure adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations.
• Prepare and deliver safety reports and presentations for leadership teams.
• Continuously improve safety management systems and best practices within a fast-paced automotive setting.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in occupational health & safety within industrial or manufacturing environments; Tier-1 automotive experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001/14001, or similar safety management systems.
• Skilled in hazard identification, safety auditing, and program development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and passport (safety certification such as ASP is a plus).
