Floor Presence & Compliance
  • Serve as the primary on‑site EHS representative and subject matter expert for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular floor walks, safety observations, and compliance inspections; document findings and drive corrective action to closure
  • Perform and coordinate regulatory compliance audits across applicable OSHA standards, with particular attention to electrical safety, LOTO/LOTO+, machine guarding, and general industry requirements
  • Manage contractor safety compliance including pre‑qualification documentation, site orientation, and ongoing monitoring during on‑site activities
  • Maintain and update the Avetta and ISN contractor management portals, ensuring documentation is current and accurate
JHA Program Management
  • Lead and manage the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) program for the Fountain Inn facility
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify hazard exposure changes requiring JHA revision
  • Ensure JHAs are integrated with training programs and accessible to workers at point of task
  • Promote and ensure effective utilization of EHS Insight as the primary platform
Incident Investigation & CAPA
  • Lead investigations for incidents, near misses, first‑aid cases, and recordable injuries using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Document findings and develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to mitigate recurrence and improve operational performance.
  • Ensure OSHA recordkeeping obligations are met and records are accurately maintained
  • Collaborate with EHS Director on trend analysis and systemic corrective action initiatives
Training & Hazard Communication
  • Deliver and document required EHS training to facility personnel, including new hire orientation, topic‑specific regulatory training, and refresher training
  • Support the development and rollout of training content in coordination with the EHS Director
  • Ensure SDS library and hazard communication program are current and compliant
EHS Systems & Reporting
  • Serve as the Fountain Inn site administrator for EHS Insight, ensuring data integrity, timely entry, and effective use of the platform for inspections, incidents, and training records
