A leading company seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist for its Pittsfield location. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting routine inspections. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience. General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join us in our Pittsfield, MA location.

With initiative, you’ll learn, oversee and assist in the administration of the EHS management systems. The EHS Specialist develops, implements, and monitors company environmental, health and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. We’ll rely on you to perform periodic safety inspections. You may assist or take the lead in the administration of the sites hazardous waste program including obtaining appropriate certifications related to Dept. of Transportation (DOT) and EPA’s Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) obligations.
