Job summary

ThermaClime Technologies, Inc. seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professional to support programs across facilities, designing and implementing proactive measures to prevent disease or injury. This role also leads incident investigations and develops SOPs/JHAs to ensure a safe workplace.

You will monitor waste streams, assist with industrial hygiene, and contribute to environmental programs and training, including ISO 14001 initiatives, at TTI and IEC facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in occupational health or safety.
  • GSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in design, analysis, review, administration, and implementation of the Company’s occupational health and safety programs.
  • Coordinates EHS improvement activities with other departments.
  • Identify hazards and determine corrective actions to improve health and safety in the workplace.
  • Perform incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement job safety analysis (JHA) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various job tasks.
  • Monitor waste streams and waste products to ascertain ways to eliminate or minimize waste generation.
  • Assist with industrial hygiene monitoring and assessments.
  • Perform routine safety inspections that evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with company and government health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Oversee EHS training programs through content development, scheduling, delivery, and record management.
  • Support environmental and sustainability programs, permits, and reports, such as an ISO 14001 certification, stormwater permit, waste programs, and chemical management, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) support in various topical areas at both TTI and IEC facilities. This position also designs and implements programs to help identify and prevent disease or injury in the workplace.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

1-3 years of experience in occupational health, safety or related technical field.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Skilled with MS Office suite.

CERTIFICATES & LICENSES

GSP preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies, detail-oriented and a high level of problem-solving skills.
