Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Understand, comply with, and communicate company and customer EHS programs and processes.
• Investigate safety incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Work with site managers, supervisors, employees, and customers to ensure accurate reports, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including federal, state, local, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and company policies.
• Update OSHA logs, analyze loss control data, and recommend improvements.
• Engage with regional sites and develop safety relationships with customers and unions.
• Participate in safety meetings and produce reports.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and develop pre-task plans.
• Enforce safety and environmental rules.
• Deliver safety training and maintain training records.
• Provide safety topics for team meetings and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Work flexible hours to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least two years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to interpret regulations and communicate effectively, including Spanish language skills as a bonus.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to travel 60% of the time, possess a valid driver’s license, and have knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI regulations.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; weekends and off-shift hours may be required.
