Atkore is seeking an EHS Site Manager in Harvey, IL to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives for the facility. You will report to the Director of Operations and guide compliance, training, audits, investigations, and regulatory reporting to protect employees and the environment.

The role requires a bachelor's degree plus 5–8 years in an EHS leadership capacity in manufacturing, with knowledge of OSHA/EPA programs and strong MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5–8 years’ experience in an EHS leader role in manufacturing
• Proven knowledge of safety and environmental management systems (OSHA, EPA)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Professional certification in Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety preferred

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local EHS regulations and maintain records.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies, programs and procedures.
• Design and deliver safety training on fire prevention, LOTO, fall protection, hazardous materials handling.
• Conduct facility inspections and audits to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and implement root-cause corrective actions.
• Prepare regulatory and incident reports for leadership and agencies.
• Administer Workers’ Compensation program and coordinate with resources.
• Maintain environmental permits, licenses and reporting requirements.
• Coach personnel to strengthen EHS program effectiveness and compliance.
• Drive risk assessments and analyze injury data for continuous improvement.
• Serve as site contact for regulatory inspections and inquiries.
• Align site programs with corporate EHS standards and lean initiatives.
• Manage EHS contractors and projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
