Job summary

JCB North America, headquartered in Pooler, GA, is seeking a Safety Technician to support OSHA programs on the manufacturing floor. The role collaborates with the EHS Director and Specialists to ensure compliance with federal and state environmental responsibilities while enhancing safety and productivity.

The role requires 2 years of related experience in general industry manufacturing, ability to work a Fri-Sun 6am-6pm schedule, and familiarity with MS Office and safety training.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience in general industry manufacturing environments.
• Must pass drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests.
• Ability to work 6:00am-6:00pm Friday-Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day support for OSHA programs and standards in general industry manufacturing.
• Develop and update OSHA and Environmental policies and programs.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions with a team-based approach.
• Prepare and deliver EHS performance reports for leadership.
• Support sustainability and recycling initiatives.
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits and communicate findings.
• Train and certify employees on forklifts and PITs.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations and Excel documents.
