Zusammenfassung

Vantage Elevation, LLC is a leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems with multiple sites in North America. The Safety Specialist will join the EHS team to strengthen programs, train staff, and drive practical safety improvements across locations in Dallas, TX and Sacramento, CA.

The role requires a hands-on safety professional with at least five years in manufacturing, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.

Aufgaben

• Support the Director of EHS in implementing and continuously improving environmental, health and safety programs.
• Support the development and improvement of the EHS management platform, including audits, inspections, compliance tracking, SDS management, corrective actions, and LMS functionality.
• Partner with EHS, HR, and business-unit teams to improve EHS training processes and training mapping.
• Assist in developing the company’s EHS audit roadmap and lead facility and program audits for evaluation and improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership to address audit findings and implement corrective actions across locations.
• Support workers’ compensation and injury management, including claim reviews and return-to-work coordination.
• Provide hands-on EHS support through evaluations, hazard assessments, incident investigations, training, and safety initiatives.
• Analyze EHS performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and deliver effective EHS training and communications for employees and managers.
• Build relationships across the organization to serve as a trusted EHS resource.
• Perform other duties and support EHS initiatives as assigned.
