Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and trainings at our Kenosha facility. You will investigate incidents, assess risks, and promote a culture of proactive safety while partnering with leadership to sustain safety excellence.

The role requires ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for long shifts, and work flexible days, nights, or weekends, with a focus on protecting workers and improving safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a bachelor's degree in EHS-related background OR 6 months experience in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personal issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs through data-driven strategies, audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advise associates and partner with leadership to drive safety improvements.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to influence change and safety initiatives.
