Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) in Indiana to lead safety programs, audits, investigations, and risk assessments. You will train associates, advocate for safety culture, and translate data into actionable improvements across sites.

You will partner with teams to ensure adherence to OSHA standards and promote a safe, productive work environment while supporting emergency response and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or a bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background or 6 months safety experience at Amazon.
• Experience using Word and Excel in a professional setting.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in workplace security and/or personal matters.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety programs and lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments to prevent injuries.
• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance safety and operations.
