Job summary

HMMA in Alabama seeks a Site Safety Manager to supervise and coordinate the Site Safety section staff. You will plan, implement, and coordinate safety programs, applying engineering principles to prevent unsafe environmental conditions in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5–10 years of related safety experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the Site Safety staff within EHS.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate safety programs and policies per OSHA standards.
• Serve as Safety Management System coordinator to identify risks and ensure audit readiness.
• Develop partnerships with manufacturing to support safety needs.
• Foster HMMA Safety Culture through management and team training.
• Provide a safe and healthful workplace; perform equipment and process checks.
