The role emphasizes data-driven safety improvements, strong communication, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies, with shifts including days, nights, and weekends at California delivery stations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) field OR Bachelor's degree in EHS OR 6 months safety experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security/personnel issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs through data-driven strategies, audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Advise and partner with associates and leadership to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Convert safety data into compelling narratives to drive engagement and improvements.
• Respond to emergencies and support site safety operations.
