Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to drive safety excellence across our operations. You will lead safety programs, audits, incidents investigations, and risk assessments, blending technology with human-centered solutions to protect associates.

As the safety champion for your site, you will train teams, influence leadership, and turn safety data into actionable insights while supporting emergency response and a culture where safety and productivity go hand in hand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year (or 6 months at Amazon) in an EHS field or safety role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and safety across the organization.
• Support emergency response and on-site care delivery during incidents.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours as needed.
