Guardian Glass in Richburg, SC is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to partner with employees, leaders, project teams, and contractors to identify and manage risk while advancing a strong health and safety culture across the facility.

You will work cross-functionally with teams to bring a health and safety perspective to daily operations and projects, turning insights from incidents into meaningful improvements for a safer workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental, health and safety within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting occupational health and safety programs such as hazardous energy control, contractor safety, incident investigation, industrial hygiene, or permit-to-work.

Responsabilités

• Strengthen hazardous-energy controls and safeguards for high-risk work through field verification, training, and audits.
• Support contractor safety from check-in through project closeout, including orientation, job hazard analyses, permits, field verification, and change control.
• Support safety-event reporting and investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification that improvements are effective.
• Support industrial hygiene and occupational health programs, including exposure assessments, respiratory protection, PPE, ergonomics, and recordkeeping.
• Develop practical EHS training and provide field coaching to strengthen hazard recognition and safe decision-making.
• Integrate EHS requirements into plant projects and shutdowns using field observations, audits, risk assessments, and performance data to prioritize risk and regulatory readiness.
