Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Environmental Science, EHS, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Sophomore standing or above with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a minimum 10-week summer term.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support safety compliance reviews relating to OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI regulatory standards.
• Conduct confined space evaluations, machine hazard analyses, and industrial hygiene sampling (air, noise).
• Track chemical usage, hazardous waste generation, and maintain MSDS.
• Support carbon accounting, lifecycle assessments (LCA), and circular economy material repurposing projects.
• Prepare project summaries and present recommendations to plant safety and environmental leadership.
