You will analyze data to reduce injuries, participate in safety committees, and lead improvement initiatives while paired with a mentor. The program emphasizes hands-on training, exposure to safety SOPs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within a premium chocolate manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Previous experience implementing safety standards preferred.
• Experience leading lean manufacturing improvement initiatives preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and process flow.
• Knowledge of basic safety standards and how to determine compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pursuing a degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise written environment/safety programs and procedures.
• Perform relevant inspections and audits.
• Respond to EHS related incidents and participate in incident investigation.
• Identify and correct safety and health deficiencies.
• Update chemical and hazardous materials inventory.
• Participate in the Safety Committee/Environment teams and conduct a training for the committee on a special topic.
• Lead an improvement initiative using the Risk Reduction or Accident Reduction Route.
• Lead initiatives related to Environment/Sustainability improvements.
