Job summary

Harvardintegrations is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the implementation and monitoring of safety programs within a manufacturing setting. You will conduct basic safety audits, provide safety training, and assist in developing safety policies and procedures.

You will work with employees to ensure adherence to protocols, help identify hazards, coordinate drills, PPE, and recordkeeping, and perform daily administrative safety tasks in support of EHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in environmental health and safety).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards as applicable to manufacturing.
• Ability to train, motivate, and influence team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager and coordinators with larger projects and investigations.
• Maintain and update written EHS programs (minor revisions, annual reviews).
• Gather data, pull reports, and prep documentation for audits and submissions.
• Track corrective actions and follow up on open items.
• Serve as liaison between EHS team and other departments (HR, facilities, ops).
• Manage contractor safety onboarding and documentation.
• Maintain recordkeeping systems (OSHA log, training records, inspection logs).
• Coordinate scheduling for drills, training sessions, and inspections.
• Order and track PPE inventory.
• Focus on daily, routine administrative and safety program elements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
