Job summary

Harvard Integrations is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and monitor our safety programs in a manufacturing setting. The role involves basic safety audits, training, and helping develop safety policies to ensure adherence to protocols and to identify hazards.

You will assist with projects, maintain EHS documentation, and coordinate drills and inspections while liaising with HR, facilities, and operations. A Bachelor’s degree in EHS is preferred, with experience in manufacturing desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (environmental health and safety).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards as applicable to manufacturing.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and influence team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager and coordinators with larger projects and investigations
  • Maintain and update written EHS programs (minor revisions, annual reviews)
  • Gather data, pull reports, and prep documentation for audits and submissions
  • Track corrective actions and follow up on open items
  • Serve as liaison between EHS team and other departments (HR, facilities, ops)
  • Manage contractor safety onboarding and documentation
  • Maintain recordkeeping systems (OSHA log, training records, inspection logs)
  • Coordinate scheduling for drills, training sessions, and inspections
  • Order and track PPE inventory
  • Focus on daily, routine administrative and safety program elements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
