Tri-State Utilities is seeking an EHS Safety Coordinator to enhance workplace safety practices across projects. The EHS Safety Coordinator will be responsible for assisting to minimize the risk of job-related accidents. They will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. They will train, manage, implement, and promote policies to drive a positive safe work environment and culture.
EHS Coordinators should be well-versed in the OSHA standards. They will be focused on prevention and need to be diligent and analytical. They will possess a keen eye for detail and for potential dangers.
Your responsibilities as the EHS Coordinator:
Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks and accidents on projects.
Enforce company and client policies. (e.g., accident reporting process)
Take part in accident investigation procedures.
Schedule and conduct training as required.
Collaborate with project leadership to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
Teaching supervisors, managers, and employees in the company about company standards.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations.
Completing project audits and reviewing with project teams.
Reviews Samsara and ensures that coaching is being completed.

This is a full-time position. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours of work vary. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
