Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking an EHS Technician to enhance safety, health, and environmental performance across our facility. You will support EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with incident investigations and audits.

Responsibilities include waste management, equipment inspections, and employee training on policies and practices to minimize risks and protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Detail-oriented with strong math and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing tasks.
• Ability to work with a diverse range of people from different cultures.

Responsibilities

• Support the Environmental Health and Safety Management System implementation and maintenance.
• Follow procedures to assess EHS issues and minimize impacts.
• Complete environmental reporting and coordinate inspections with agencies.
• Carry out tasks to ensure proper waste disposal of facility streams.
• Participate in plant inspections of fire, safety equipment, and facilities.
• Identify and report safety concerns to management and assist investigations.
• Conduct noise monitoring and air quality tests as needed.
• Assist with department and facility audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Educate employees on EHS policies and best practices through training.
