Job summary

Siemens' Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation in Knightdale, NC is seeking an Employee Health & Safety Operator to support site EHS performance and compliance. You will report to the EHS Manager and work with cross-functional teams. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 2+ years in a technical EHS role, and knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a technical EHS role.
• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to recognize and recommend hazard controls.
• Experience leading EHS targets in cross-functional teams.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for a Zero Harm safety culture.
• Conduct safety training and maintain training database.
• Improve EHS awareness and safe work practices.
• Analyze EHS data and prepare regulatory reports.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work.
• Provide guidance on environmental, health and safety issues.
• Assist in audits and implement corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations and tracking.
• Collaborate with EHS Manager and team.
• Stay updated on regional/local regulations.
