Job summary

AFL in Duncan, SC is seeking an Environmental Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) Analyst to support EHSS programs, maintain management systems, and drive regulatory compliance. The role requires strong data analytics, LMS administration, and incident reporting expertise.

You will coordinate workers’ compensation activities, contractor safety management, and environmental compliance initiatives while contributing to AFL’s safety culture and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting EHS, environmental compliance, workers’ compensation, training administration, operations, or related functions.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), EHS management software, incident management systems, or contractor compliance platforms.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EHSS management systems, records, forms, and databases in support of regulatory requirements and ISO 45001 management system objectives.
• Administer EHSS training programs through the Learning Management System and maintain training matrices and records.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation administration activities and serve as liaison with insurers and third-party administrators.
• Maintain incident records and generate OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 reports; assist with regulatory submissions.
• Administer contractor compliance programs through Avetta and related platforms; manage COIs and onboarding.
• Coordinate medical surveillance programs and track examinations and certifications; monitor training and competency requirements.
