Jobbeschreibung

A leading industrial manufacturing company is looking to add an EHS Representative to support several manufacturing and operational facilities in Texas. Based near Alma TX, this person will be tasked with strengthening safety culture, improving regulatory compliance, and reducing operational risk across a geographically dispersed footprint. The role combines hands-on facility engagement with partnership and coaching of plant leadership. It is a strong opportunity for an EHS professional who enjoys multi-site responsibility and influencing meaningful change without direct authority.

The Role
  • Provide EHS leadership across multiple facilities, partnering with plant teams to strengthen accountability, safety culture, and operational performance.
  • Develop a risk-based approach to site support and conduct audits, inspections, facility risk assessments, behavioral observations, and critical-control verification.
  • Lead and support incident and near-miss investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and the sharing of lessons learned across locations.
  • Support OSHA and environmental compliance, including recordkeeping, permitting, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, Management of Change, and regulatory inspections.
  • Analyze EHS performance trends and leading/lagging indicators to prioritize improvements, deliver training, and reduce risk. Travel is expected to be approximately 25–35%.
The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or another industrial environment, with multi-site experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of occupational safety and environmental requirements, including incident investigation, risk assessments, audits, LOTO/machine safety, contractor safety, and corrective-action management.
  • Proven ability to influence plant and operational leadership, coach employees, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability across locations without direct authority.
  • Professional credentials such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH, or OHST are preferred; experience with Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, data analytics, or Continuous Improvement is also valuable.
