Job summary

WM is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site-level and corporate programs, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001/9001, regulatory requirements, and customer safety standards across operations.

You will guide staff, develop site procedures, perform audits, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in waste management, training, and incident reporting. This role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites, and live in the U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar degree.
• 10+ years hands-on and programmatic Health & Safety/compliance experience.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site or off-site WMSS project staff guidance and support for EHS programs and procedures.
• Conducts safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance and compliance.
• Travel to customer sites to observe and assist in implementing EHS programs and best practices.
• Manages EHS projects/programs and develops site-specific procedures and action plans.
• Develops and maintains EHS training materials and conducts trainings.
• Evaluates regulations and provides compliance strategy guidance to operations and customers.
