Job summary

Dudek is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our Oakland team as an EHS Manager. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of EHS experience and help ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

This in-office role involves leading incident investigations, tracking metrics, and managing client portals, with opportunities to contribute to the safety culture across Dudek projects.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in environmental health and safety field.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Understanding of Workers Compensation laws.
• Basic understanding of hazard recognition, controls, and program implementation.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Track metrics and ensure compliance with Company, Client, State, and Federal requirements.
• Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Manage client portals with document, data, and training requirements.
• Lead the Safety Committee.
• Assist EHS team in tracking client training requirements and assign training as needed.
• Provide safety documentation support for project planning.
