Job summary

CSL Behring LLC is seeking an experienced EHS professional to sustain and advance environmental, health, and safety programs at our Illinois site. You will align with global EHS standards and lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and contractor safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupation Health and Safety or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred and/or an MBA.
• OSHA 3 General Industry and Construction Industry certificates.
• CSP, CSHT, OSHA 510 Certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of EHS experience in biotech/pharmaceutical or chemical environment.
• Well versed in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience with EHS management systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Sustainment/development of Site EHS programs aligned with global standards (Enablon, SDS management, Change Management).
• Develop criteria for local/global management reviews and report issues to stakeholders and project teams.
• Lead safety incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective action plans; review data to identify trends.
• Support Contractor/Construction Safety Program implementation with project teams to ensure compliance and hazard reduction.
• Oversee compliance programs related to OSHA general industry and construction regulations (29 CFR 1910/1926).
• Act as Safety SME during stage gate reviews of Tier 1 and 2 projects and review portfolios for EHS impacts.
