Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional

0-10 years experience

Located in Atlanta, Multi $B Global manufacturing company committed to a Green Environmental future, would like to have a EHS Engineer / Specialist join their team.

EHS Professional Responsibilities:

• Participate in implementing green manufacturing practices and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Collaborate with state and federal agencies on environmental compliance matters such as Air Permits, Water Permits, waste management, and soil contamination with EPA & OSHA.
• Participate in Emergency Response Planning, sustainability initiatives, and health and wellness programs related to ergonomics and overall well-being.
• Engage in safety and hazard assessment activities, including Process Hazard Analysis and Job Safety Analysis.

EHS Preferred Skills:

• 0-10 years of experience in Environmental and Safety roles (EHS/HSE).
• Regulatory knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and familiarity with local and state regulations.
• Prior knowledge of EHS programs, risk assessments, safety protocols, and tracking of recordable injury rates is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering OR certifications in EHS and/or Safety (CSP certification) OR Degree in Chemistry OR Biology Sciences.
