Essenti Talent seeks an EH&S Engineer to be based at a manufacturing plant in Orange County. You will oversee regulatory and technical safety programs, ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and contribute as a process engineer within a cGMP-regulated environment.

The role involves developing SOPs, leading EH&S trainings, conducting inspections, and supporting permit activities (wastewater, air quality, storm water). Training the Trainer credentials are a plus.

Competenze

• B.S. Degree in Engineering (Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, etc).
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in chemicals or materials manufacturing.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is ideal (24-hour certification is acceptable).
• Train the Trainer certified in LOTO/Confined Space/Fall protection, or other technical area.

Mansioni

• Work with team members to ensure lockout/tagout procedures are available and up to date.
• Perform monthly in-person EH&S related training.
• Perform periodic EH&S inspections.
• Take part in weekend safety meetings and safety committee teams.
• Write EH&S related SOPs.
• This role is a member of the 24-hour HAZWOPER team.
• Manage administrative duties with internal EH&S software systems.
• Assist in permit required environmental activities (wastewater, storm water, air quality, etc).
