Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking an EH&S Engineer for a manufacturing plant in Orange County, CA. The role focuses on regulatory and technical compliance, environmental and safety programs, and contributions to process engineering.

The position reports to the EH&S Director and operates in a cgmp-regulated environment with a 24-hour HAZWOPER team. Key duties include LOTO, training, inspections, SOP writing, and internal software system administration.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering (Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, etc)
• 3+ years of previous manufacturing experience, ideally in chemicals or materials manufacturing
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is ideal (24-hour certification is acceptable)
• Open to hiring someone who has been an EH&S Engineer before, or a process engineer who is curious to expand their skillset
• Train the Trainer certified in LOTO/Confined Space/Fall protection, or other technical area

Responsabilités

• Work with team members to ensure lockout/tagout procedures are available and up to date
• Perform monthly in-person EH&S related training
• Perform periodic EH&S inspections
• Take part in weekend safety meetings and safety committee teams
• Write EH&S related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• This role is a member of the 24-hour HAZWOPER team
• This person will manage administrative duties with internal EH&S software systems
• This person will assist in permit required environmental activities (wastewater, storm water, air quality, etc)
