Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professional to support and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs at our growing operations in Nampa, Idaho. You will help ensure compliance and support audits, partnering with employees and leaders to promote a safe, sustainable workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining EHS programs to comply with regulations.
• Own programs ensuring safety and environmental compliance; maintain ongoing requirements.
• Counsel management and employees on safety programs; participate in cross-functional solutions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, questionnaires, and environmental incident issues.
• Participate in internal audits and ISO 14001/45001 compliance actions.
• Perform EHS review/approval as part of MOC processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and senior EHS staff on equipment safety design.
• Partner with site safety committee on hazard control and incident prevention.
• Model SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Other duties as assigned.
