Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Partner to advise site stakeholders and execute EHS strategy at the Distribution Center.

The role focuses on injury prevention, hazard control, and training to foster a strong safety culture. Accountability includes regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and collaboration with operations, HR, claims and security to implement standardized EHS programs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in EHS or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional certifications encouraged.
• ASP, CSP or CIH and ISO 14001/45001 experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to foster a world class safety culture.
• Identify and control site hazards; support incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Analyze trends to reduce injury frequency and develop training programs.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage EHS resources and projects.
• Contribute to standardized safety systems, policies and training.
• Support environmental compliance and claims programs.
• Build internal and external EHS networks to implement policies and processes.
• Perform other duties as required.
