Job summary

Google is seeking an experienced EHS NPI Technical Program Manager to lead safety integration for new hardware and data center products. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, plan requirements, and drive mitigation across the product lifecycle.

Your work will focus on reducing safety and ergonomic risks in hardware design, with collaboration across engineering, operations, and executives. Travel 15-20% to support deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of program management experience.
• 2 years of product design experience or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Experience in product/hardware platform design safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership for the introduction of new hardware products, coordinating mitigations to ensure safety across the product lifecycle.
• Integrate safety requirements into design standards and coordinate equipment reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Review incidents with cross-functional teams to evaluate risk mitigation options for current and future equipment.
• Manage and report risk and mitigation data to partner and stakeholder teams.
• Travel 15-20% as needed.
