Job summary

Google is seeking an EHS NPI Technical Program Manager in Addison, TX to lead safety integration for new hardware in data centers. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify hazards, implement mitigations, and ensure ergonomic and safety considerations are embedded throughout product development.

The role requires reviewing designs, managing risk data, and communicating with executives to drive safe, scalable hardware deployment across Google data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of program management experience.
• 2 years in product design, or 1 year with advanced degree.
• Experience in product/hardware platform design safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership for the introduction of new hardware products, implementing mitigations to ensure the highest level of safety possible.
• Integrate safety requirements into design standards, coordinate equipment reviews with cross-functional teams to perform job hazard analysis.
• Review incidents with cross functional teams to evaluate risk mitigation options for current and future deployed equipment.
• Manage and report risk and mitigation data to partner and stakeholder teams.
• Travel of 15-20% as needed.
