Job summary

Google is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety NPI Technical Program Manager in Atlanta, GA, with responsibilities spanning safety integration across product design and deployment. You will lead cross-functional teams to identify hazards, develop mitigations, and ensure ergonomic and safety standards are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product design, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience in product or hardware platform design safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership for new hardware products, implementing mitigations to ensure safety.
• Manage safety requirement integration into design standards and perform hazard analysis.
• Review incidents with cross-functional teams to evaluate risk mitigation options.
• Manage and report risk and mitigation data to partner and stakeholder teams.
• Travel of 15-20% as needed.
