Job summary

VanTran Transformers is seeking an EHS Material Handler to safely transport, organize, and stage materials in a heavy industrial setting. You will support production flow and maintain accurate inventory.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, delivering to lines, verifying documents, labeling and tracking materials, and assisting with waste management and 6S initiatives. Apply safety and PPE protocols daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems preferred.
• Welding, fabrication, or PLC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
• Deliver materials to production lines in a timely and accurate manner based on schedules and work orders.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials against documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Support inventory control by labeling, counting, and recording materials; handle hazardous waste per safety regulations.
• Assist in tracking shortages, damaged items, and discrepancies and report to supervisor.
