Job summary

Aztalan Bio LLC in Wisconsin seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the facility's EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement at our Johnson Creek site.

You will develop policies, conduct audits, manage training, incident investigations, and reporting, and collaborate with leadership to maintain a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environment, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate EHS goals; develop strategies for a safe workplace.
• Develop and maintain safety standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Monitor changes in EHS requirements and update practices accordingly.
• Design and deliver training on safety standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Title five air permit, wastewater, groundwater, and storm water regulations.
• Manage safety programs, committees, and incentive initiatives.
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits; manage incident investigations and records.
• Oversee corrective actions, report preparation, and recordkeeping.
• Procure safety equipment as needed and support site sustainability reporting.
