Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead EHS programs on the production floor.

You will conduct monthly training, audits, and meetings to improve safety awareness and program effectiveness. Responsibilities include incident investigations, RCA, injury case management, contractor safety compliance, and risk assessments across ergonomics and process safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, construction, chemical processing, powder handling, industrial operations, or similar environments.
• Minimum of three years’ related experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial safety requirements, contractor management practices, permit-to-work systems, confined space regulations, lockout/tagout, and hazard communication standards.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives on the production floor with audits and training to promote safe practices.
• Investigate workplace incidents using RCA tools and share lessons learned.
• Involvement in injury/illness case management and return-to-work processes.
• Monitor on-site contractor safety and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments for ergonomics, equipment, process safety, and operations.
• Create and maintain waste profiles and manifests for site waste streams, including hazardous waste.
