Job summary

Huntsman in Freeport, Texas, seeks a Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) to lead site programs and drive a culture of Zero Harm. You will report to the Site Manager and partner with operations, corporate teams, and regulators to ensure compliant, safe, and reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of EHS experience; or 10+ years in a chemical manufacturing environment if no degree.
• Experience with PSM/RMP compliance.
• Experience leading EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for site environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Advise site leadership on environmental compliance, occupational health, safety, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements including PSM/RMP.
• Lead occupational health, industrial hygiene, emergency response, security, and business continuity initiatives.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, emergency response organizations, and community stakeholders.
• Drive hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and develop the site EHS team; manage budgets and resources.
• Partner with operational and corporate teams to improve EHS performance.
