Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking an EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at a precast concrete manufacturing facility in Minnesota.

The role focuses on identifying and reducing risk while ensuring OSHA and environmental compliance, partnering with production and leadership to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Salary range is $77,846-$97,307, based on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of EHS experience in construction, manufacturing, or precast environments.
• OSHA 30 (General Industry) preferred; ability to obtain OSHA 501 required.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and safety best practices.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through communication, accountability, and employee engagement.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Lead safety training programs (LOTO, PPE, fall protection, confined space, lifting techniques).
• Perform incident investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Create and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for key job functions.
• Partner with contractors to ensure adherence to company safety standards.
• Conduct safety audits and track corrective actions to completion.
• Analyze safety data (TRIR, DART) and provide reports with improvement recommendations.
• Support environmental compliance efforts, including waste management and pollution prevention.
• Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.
• Monitor compliance with air, water, and waste regulations.
