Job summary

The EHS Manager at BILA SOLAR leads the development and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, and HR to drive regulatory compliance and a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, training, permit management, and the implementation of LOTO, PPE, and other safety programs across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general-industry safety requirements.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and manufacturing-related environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong incident-investigation and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent safety or operational situations.
• Experience leading or supporting EHS programs in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Company EHS policies, programs, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS requirements (OSHA, EPA, IDEM).
• Lead investigations of injuries, incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate EHS training and maintain training records across all shifts.
• Manage safety programs including LOTO, PPE, hazard communication, and machine guarding.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and support emergency preparedness activities.
