Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant EHS experience may be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, foundry or similar environments strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and applicable environmental regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, safety audits, risk assessments, and employee training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve EHS programs, policies, procedures, and practices.
• Serve as primary EHS resource for facilities and provide guidance on safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR and other regulations.
• Lead investigations of injuries, incidents, and near misses and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Track EHS metrics and communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop and conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
