Job summary

Polyvinyl Films, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee all EHS programs at our blown plastic films facility.

You will ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, foster a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• CSP or CIH credentials are a plus.
• Experience with OSHA reporting systems and EHS management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enforcement of company-wide EHS policies and procedures specific to plastic film extrusion.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and facility inspections to identify hazards and environmental impacts.
• Lead plant emergency response and preparedness planning, including drills.
• Oversee handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and injuries; perform root cause analyses.
• Collaborate with operations to integrate EHS into production processes.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for staff and contractors.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and reports (e.g., OSHA 300 logs).
• Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
