Job summary

CAMS is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead regulatory compliance and safety at our Devon Power Plant and remote Connecticut sites. The role reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on building a strong safety culture while improving EHS performance.

Responsibilities include environmental oversight, OSHA compliance, training, incident investigations, and coordinating audits across multiple Connecticut sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, OH&S, or related field.
• At least 5 years of EHS experience in power generation, heavy industrial, or utility sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and CT environmental regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with federal, state (CTDEEP), and local environmental regulations and permits.
• Lead safety programs, training, audits, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate site travel and oversee EHS vendors/contractors.
