Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Safety Manager to lead a proactive safety culture across our fulfillment centers. This role requires a floor-level presence for walk-throughs, investigations, and training to ensure audits are audit-ready.

You will own safety metrics, document OSHA records, and drive corrective actions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a full-time, on-site position offering meaningful health benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in a production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environment.
• Formal or extensive regulatory experience and exposure.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
• Hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Ability to own and execute integrated safety programs independently — this role does not have Safety Supervisor support and requires someone who can carry the management, influence/cooperations, and the execution.
• Floor-level presence: significant time on the warehouse floor, not behind a desk.

Responsibilities

• Own key ORIR & LTI rates, analyze data and drive corrective actions.
• Document and investigate OSHA records; ensure timely corrective actions.
• Support onboarding safety training completion above 95%.
• Conduct monthly safety audits and close open items.
• Maintain current emergency response plans and first aid resources across all shifts.
• Actively manage workers’ compensation costs and modified duty programs.
